David leads our PR and Corporate Development Practice. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in business-to-business marketing, consumer public relations and investor relations. He has created and managed several highly successful programs for a variety of organizations ranging from public Fortune 1000 companies with a global presence to nonprofits and venture-funded startups.
His client experience covers a variety of industries including: automotive, business intelligence, CRM, content management, e-commerce, education, financial services, food, gaming, health care, hospitality, human resources, internet infrastructure and security, investment banking, nanotechnology, private equity, procurement, product safety testing, professional services, real estate, sports, supply chain management, telecommunications and many more.
Previously, he was Vice President of Ryan Communications, a San Francisco-based marketing communications consultancy spawned from Niehaus Ryan Wong (NRW)-one of Silicon Valley's leading technology public relations agencies.
While at NRW, David served as the Director of the eBusiness Practice, which primarily serviced the agency's Enterprise Software and Services clients. He managed some of the agency's most noteworthy publicly traded clients and the high-profile launch of Covisint-a global automotive trading exchange created by Ford, General Motors and Daimler/Chrysler. David was also actively involved in establishing NRW's New York and Austin offices.
In addition to NRW, David held positions with such organizations as Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, Rhea & Kaiser Marketing Communications, Tech Image Ltd., and OSF Healthcare.
David holds a Master of Science in Communication from Illinois State University, specializing in Public Relations and Organization Communication. David also holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Economics from Illinois State University. In 2006, David was named Illinois State University's Outstanding Alumnus Graduate in Public Relations.
